The Festival

Philadelphia is a great Sports Town! It offers a rich sports history in addition to fantastic and unique sports facilities. It is also a popular destination for athletes and families alike.

The U.S. Sports Film Festival is a uniquely positioned premier event that will entice sports lovers and film enthusiasts from around the world to visit a city whose name is synonymous with sports – Philadelphia.

While a few film festivals focus on a particular genre of sport or include sports films as a component of larger festival programs, the U.S. Sports Film Festival will be exclusively dedicated to sports-related films.

We will honor the best new sports film and video productions and will entertain any sports fan, from traditional sports buffs to classics aficionados to documentary enthusiasts to vacationing families. 

The Festival provides the opportunity for filmmakers to showcase their work and network with a select audience, including: sports film fans, other sports filmmakers, industry and sports executives as well as celebrities and athletes.

USSFF is proud to partner with Govenor Rendell and mayor Nutter, the Philadelphia Film Office, Greater Philadelphia Tourism, and the Select Greater Philadelphia. They are all an integral part of our Festival.
